SMART EDUCATION IN LOW-RESOURCE SETTINGS: OVERCOMING BARRIERS TO ADOPTION

This study explores the challenges and opportunities of implementing smart education in low-resource settings, where access to technology and infrastructure may be limited. By examining case studies from various regions, the research identifies the key barriers to the adoption of smart education, including limited access to devices, unreliable internet connectivity, lack of digital literacy, and financial constraints. It also explores potential solutions, such as mobile-based learning platforms, low-cost technology, and community-driven initiatives, to overcome these obstacles. The study highlights how smart education, when effectively adapted, can enhance learning outcomes in resource-poor environments by providing personalized, accessible, and engaging educational experiences. Recommendations are made for policymakers, educators, and technology developers to create sustainable models that support the widespread adoption of smart education in low-resource contexts.
